Graduation Test
The National Graduation Test (Uluttuk Sınak) ends grade 12 and has been set since 2005 by the Education Quality Agency of the Office of the Governor. Each subject is marked out of 100 and the total out of 500; the pass mark is 36 in each subject.
Points are used for admission to Talas State University, the Nurzhan Polytechnic Institute and the colleges, and for the state-funded grant places (about 30% of university places).
